Changelog

What we shipped.
Every release, in plain language.

We ship the things you can use, then we tell you about them. No "performance improvements" filler.

  1. Newv2026.4.2· April 28, 2026

Time tracker node + invoice templates

Two new node kinds landed on boards: a running time-tracker (with start / pause / lap and team-wide rollups) and a polished invoice card with PAID / DRAFT / SENT states. Both work offline and sync as soon as you reconnect.

    • Time-tracker rolls up to a chart node by tag, project, or assignee.
    • Invoice templates ship with VAT / GST / tax options out of the box.
    • Both nodes count against the unlimited-nodes plans (Pro and above).
  2. Newv2026.4.0· April 14, 2026

b/ slug pills now show real favicons

Slug pills in shared boards used to render a generic icon for unknown domains. They now pull the actual favicon via the secure CDN proxy: Figma, Notion, Linear, GitHub, and the ten thousand other sites your team links to. No PII leaks: the proxy strips Referer headers and stores zero per-request data.

  3. Improvedv2026.3.5· March 21, 2026

Faster slug router (avg. 38ms p50)

The slug-router edge worker now runs on Cloudflare\'s 320-PoP edge with cold-start sub-millisecond. p50 redirect latency dropped from 142ms to 38ms; p99 from 1.2s to 210ms. Boards loaded via slug now feel instant.

  4. Newv2026.3.0· March 4, 2026

    SCIM 2.0 provisioning (Enterprise)

Enterprise customers can now provision users directly from Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud, and any SCIM 2.0–compatible IdP. Group-to-workspace mapping, automatic role assignment, and just-in-time deprovisioning all work as expected.

Setup is a single SAML metadata exchange; your IT team can wrap it in an afternoon. Reach out to sales for the configuration walkthrough.

  5. Fixedv2026.2.7· February 18, 2026

Comment threads no longer drop on rapid edits

A race in the CRDT sync pipeline meant comments resolved while another teammate was typing could occasionally lose the unsent draft. Fixed via a per-thread vector clock; no data was lost from past comments.

  6. Newv2026.2.0· February 4, 2026

    Sitemap auto-generation

Drop a site URL onto a board and BookSlash crawls (politely) to render a navigable sitemap node. Click any page to deep-link, hover to preview, regenerate on demand.

  7. Breakingv2026.1.5· January 22, 2026

    Deprecation notice: legacy /api/v1/links

The legacy /api/v1/links endpoint will stop responding on June 1, 2026. Migrate to /api/v2/slugs, a superset of the old API that ships with a bidirectional migration tool. We will email every active integration owner 60 days ahead of the cutover.

  8. Newv2026.1.0· January 8, 2026

Custom slug domains (Pro and above)

Use b.your-co.com instead of b/ for your team. One CNAME plus a TXT verification record gets you there. Existing slugs migrate transparently.
