Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-06
If BookSlash isn’t working for you, you can get your money back. This page says exactly when refunds apply and how to request one.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
Upgrade to a paid plan for the first time and decide it’s not right for you? Request a full refund within 14 days of your first charge. No questions asked.
This guarantee applies once per account, on the first payment only.
2. Monthly plans
Monthly charges are not refundable outside the 14-day window. Cancel a monthly plan mid-cycle and you keep access until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds for unused days.
3. Annual plans
Cancel an annual plan after the 14-day window and we credit the unused portion of your subscription back to your account. The credit is calculated pro-rata from the date of cancellation to the end of your annual term.
Credits apply to a future BookSlash subscription. They are not redeemable as cash and expire 12 months from the date of issue.
4. How to request a refund
Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all refund requests and tax compliance on our behalf.
To request a refund, visit Paddle’s buyer support and open a refund request. Have your order confirmation email ready — Paddle needs your transaction ID to process it.
You can also email [email protected] and we will submit the refund to Paddle on your behalf.
5. Exceptions
Refunds are not available if:
- Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- The request falls outside the applicable window described above.
- The account has already received a refund under the 14-day guarantee.
6. Statutory rights
This policy does not affect any statutory rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Where applicable law requires a cash refund, we will provide one.
